It’s the new, overnight home which is perfect for brides-to-be, couples or friends wanting to getaway.
Herrmann House is located at 37 George Street, Kalbar, Queensland. Originally, the site housed one of Kalbar’s oldest houses. It sat there by itself, since the turn of the century. Then recently, another historic Kalbar home was moved onto the same site to help create the big, beautiful country homestead that stands proudly there today.
Step back in time to an era of elegance and luxury.
The historical 3 turreted home includes:
- 3 large king bedrooms each with their own ensuite,
- 1 queen bedroom with ensuite
- Elegant lounge rooms with gas fireplaces
- Kitchen facilities
- Laundry
- Wifi and Netflix
- Reverse cycle air conditioning throughout
The middle outdoor section includes:
- A dining table for 8 guests
- Gas BBQ
- Comfy outdoor lounge for 8 guests
Here guests can BBQ and dine outside with views to the sprawling farmland behind.
Hidden away at the back of Herrmann house is beautiful garden area that features white hampton’s chairs and a firepit.
It’s the perfect place to sit outside under a star-filled sky.
It’s also where the guests can park with easy access to the homestead.

Herrmann House oozes luxury from the moment you open the front door. The entire property is absolutely stunning and every little detail has been thought of. From the comfortable king-sized bed, to the decadent bathtub in the ensuite and the gorgeous sunset views from the common pergola area we couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Loved the extra touches as well including the divine soaps, shampoo, body lotion etc supplied in the bathrooms and the cute continental breakfast fresh and ready for us to put together in the morning. The attention to detail in this property is second to none and I will be back to stay again!

WOW is all I can say. The Herrmann House is everything! The Josie and grounds and maintained to the highest standards and the attention to detail does not go unnoticed. We had both houses booked which worked perfectly during the getting ready stage and then after as our children stayed in the back house with the grandparents. I'm already planning on booking on for our anniversary !

Herrmann House thank you for your hospitality. Your staff went above and beyond our expectations. Not only is Herrmann House very well equipped (you have thought of everything), it is so comfortable and it is in a very beautiful and convenient location. The property is so well maintained, from the beautifully landscaped gardens to the fine detail and the finish of the home, it is just beautiful. It was so nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the evening breeze, the sunset view was such a nice surprise. Herrmann House certainly is the best accommodation choice in the region, we will definitely stay here again. 5 Stars!
